The records of the 1st to 6th generation ancestors are from the six-generation ancestors portrait scroll, the records of the 12th to 14th generation ancestors are from the ancestral tablets in the Dingkwan ancestral hall (鼎琨黄公祠) and the "Xinhui local chronicles"(新会县志). The records of the 15th to 19th generation ancestors are from the "Manuscripts of shen zhong zhui yuan"(慎终追远手稿). There is currently no record of the 8th to the 11th generation ancestor.

Below are some Chinese words for honorary civil titles:
中议大夫: grand master for palace counsel (honorary civil official).
In the Jin Dynasty, it is a upper fifth grade (正五品) civil official.
In the Yuan and Ming Dynasty, it is a is upper fourth grade (正四品) civil official.
In the Qing Dynasty, it is a lower third rank (从三品) civil official.
There in no official name of 中议大夫 in the Song Dynasty.
